This indicator will appear at the bottom of your chart and highlight the length of time when the short term moving average is above (green) or below (red) the longer term moving average by the specified percentage. It does show the difference between the moving averages, only highlighting the length of time when the difference is large enough to meet the chosen threshold.

Inputs #
Users have the ability to choose the duration of the Short MA Length and the Long MA Length, along with the threshold or “MA Gap %” needed before the indicator will trigger. Users also have the ability to use simple moving averages (SMA) or exponential moving averages (EMA). Default values were selected based on Stockbee's preference.
Style #
- Plot – Select the color that that will run along the X-axis of the indicator. Default is blue.
- Up/Down Line Color – Choose the color that will run along the indicator signal. Default is blue.
- Up Color – Choose the color that will show underneath the indicator lines when the shorter term moving average is above the longer term moving average by more than the specified threshold. Default is green.
- Down Color – Choose the color that will show underneath the indicator lines when the shorter term moving average is blow the longer term moving average by more than the specified threshold. Default is red.
