How to Create a Screen in Deepvue #

In Deepvue, users can create custom screens that help filter through a multitude of stocks and select the ones that best meet their specific criteria and system. The screen creator is intuitive and easy to use, allowing users to choose from a variety of screening filters, including technicals, fundamentals, and other customizable filter options.

In Deepvue, creating a screen is a streamlined process that enhances the user experience by allowing them to filter through the database based on their specific criteria and system. To get started, simply click on the “New Screen” button, which opens the “Create New Screen” pop-up menu.

Within this menu, you’ll find eight general filter groups to choose from. As you build your screen you can view your selected filters under the “Applied Filters” heading.

In Deepvue, creating a screen to filter through symbols has never been easier. With eight general filter groups to choose from, users can select individual filters that meet the specific qualities they are looking for.

Each filter has a specific use, which users can easily learn about by simply hovering over the filter to read the tooltip also known as hover note description of how the filter functions and what it achieves for the user.

Once you have decided on the specific filter you wish to add to your screen, and customize to suit your needs, all you need to do is click the “Add” button and it will show up under Applied Filters immediately to the right.

The selected filter will then appear under the “Applied Filters” section and become one of the filters that determine the outcome of the screen’s results.

If the user wishes to remove a selected filter, they can press the little “x” next to the selected filter as it appears under the “Applied Filters” section.

This feature enables users to create customs screens that suit their specific needs and trading strategies, making the screening process more efficient and effective.

Saving a Screen #

In Deepvue, after selecting the desired filters for their screen, users can conveniently save the screen for future use by clicking on the “Save Screen” button at the bottom of the screen.

This feature allows the user to save a particular screen for later use. Upon selecting the “Save Screen” button, under the “Create New Screen” pop-up window users will be prompted to name the screen and choose a folder to save it in. If the user does not yet have a folder created for saved screens, they will be given the option to create one.

This simple and intuitive feature allows users to quickly and easily save their customized screens for future use, streamlining their screening process and enhancing their overall Deepvue experience.

Selecting and Editing a Previously Saved Screen #

In Deepvue, users can easily run previously created and saved screens by selecting them from their designated folders. To access these screens, users can simply click the drop-down arrow next to the currently selected screen or press the “My Screens” button.

This feature allows users to easily re-run screens that they found useful in the past, without having to recreate them from scratch.

If the user wishes to edit a previously saved screen, they can simply select the screen and press the “Edit Screen” button. This will once again open the “Applied Filters menu where the user can add or remove filters as they see fit.

With this feature, users can quickly modify their screens to reflect changes in their investment or trading strategy in differing market conditions, helping them stay on top of their game.

The “ALL / ANY” Screener Logic #

“ALL” Functionality #

One of the most powerful aspects of the screen creator is the ability to use different screening logics. The “ALL” logic, which is Deepvue’s default logic, requires that all selected criteria within the group be met, whereas the “ANY” logic only requires one of the selected criteria within the group to be met, but only after all of the “ALL” criteria are met first. This flexibility allows users to create highly customized screens in a much more effective and efficient manner.

Deepvue offers a powerful screening tool that enables investors and traders to identify symbols that meet specific filtering criteria. The platform’s first screener logic functionality is the “ALL” screener functionality group. This is the first group of criteria that will appear under “Applied Filters” as they are added.

When the user adds a filter to their screen, it automatically falls into the “ALL” logic group when the screen is run. This means that any symbol that appears in the screener will meet all of the filters in this group, which is always the first group under the “Applied Filters” heading.

The “ALL” logic is a useful tool for screening out symbols that do not meet all of the criteria of the filters in the first group.

“ANY” Functionality #

Deepvue’s second screener logic functionality is the “ANY” screener functionality bucket, which is only present when the user adds a second group to the screen. The “ANY” logic bucket allows users to pick multiple filters that are run separately, creating an all-in-one, inclusive screen.

There can be multiple “ANY” logic groups, but they will always be located from the second group and on under the “Applied Filters” heading. The symbols that appear in the screener will meet at least one of the criteria in each respective group. If there is a subsequent “ANY” group, then symbols that meet the criteria of a specific filter of the first “ANY” group may also meet the criteria of a specific filter of the subsequent “ANY” group.

In all cases above, the criteria in the “ALL” group must be met first. This functionality allows users to create a comprehensive screen, saving time and effort in the search for new symbols to add to a Watchlist.

It is important for investors and traders to become familiar with this logic tool as it can make their screening process more effective, allowing them to focus on studying setups and refining their system, approach, and rule set for the next trading session.

One of the amazing features in Deepvue is the ability for users to create an “ANY” logic group in their screens, which enables the user to create powerful combinations and combine screens. “ANY” logic groups can be added to a screen by clicking on the lavender “Add Group” button located at the bottom of the “Applied Filters” window, just below the Results.

Once added, users can click on the newly created group and begin adding filters to it.

This feature allows users to pick many filters for symbols to build an all-in-one, inclusive screener, which can save time and enhance the user’s trading experience.

In Deepvue, screening is a powerful tool that can help investors and traders navigate the ever-changing market environment with ease. By screening, users can narrow down the symbols that meet their specific criteria and system, which ultimately helps them to create Watchlists more efficiently for future trading sessions.

With Deepvue’s comprehensive screening capabilities, users can filter symbols by a variety of criteria. This makes it easier to find the stocks or other assets that are most relevant to their investment or trading strategy, saving time and boosting overall efficiency. Whether one is a seasoned investor or trader or just starting out, Deepvue’s screening tool can be an invaluable resource for optimizing the user’s trading experience.
