DV Enhanced Dollar Volume #
- DV Enhanced Volume can be accessed by navigating to the indicators section, typing in ‘DV’, and then selecting ‘DV Enhanced Dollar Volume’. The ‘Enhanced Dollar Volume Indicator’ will appear at the bottom of the chart.
- The Enhanced Dollar Volume Indicator is different from the normal volume indicator. It includes special green bars and orange bars, each representing different volume signatures.
- The green bars, also known as High Relative Volume (HRV), signify that the day’s volume is greater than any down volume in the past ten days.
- The orange bars, also known as Low Relative Volume (LRV), signify that the volume is lower than any up volume over the past ten days.
- IMPORTANT: The color of the volume bars is based on the stock’s daily closing range. Closes above mid-range are considered positive, whereas closes below mid-range are considered negative, which are then colored accordingly.
