Earnings Per Share (EPS) Rating #

Compares a company’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) to all other publicly traded companies in the Deepvue database, taking into consideration recently reported quarterly and annual sales figures and future quarterly and annual EPS estimates. It is rated on a scale from 1 to 99, with 99 as the highest possible rating and one as the lowest possible rating. All Earnings Per Share (EPS) data in Deepvue is on a GAAP basis.

Sales Rating #

Compares a company’s Sales to all other publicly traded companies in the Deepvue database, taking into consideration recently reported quarterly and annual sales figures and future quarterly and annual Sales estimates. It is rated on a scale from 1 to 99, with 99 as the highest possible rating and one as the lowest possible rating.

Fundamental Rating #

Useful metric that ranks the fundamental aspects of a stocks earnings and sales growth versus all stocks in the Deepvue database. Deepvue uses a weighting algorithm to consider historical average earnings & sales growth, quarterly EPS and Sales surprise, current annual EPS and Sales surprise as well as quarterly and annual EPS and sales growth estimates going forward. This rating is calculated for each stock, which is then assigned a number on a scale from -100 to 100. A positive number signifies top-quality EPS and sales figures and strong future estimates, while a negative number signals weak fundamentals.

Accumulation/Distribution (A/D) Rating #

Accumulation/Distribution (A/D) Rating measures the possible buying demand or selling pressure a stock is experiencing from institutions. The rating considers 50-day average volume, closing prices, and daily closing ranges over a 13-week (one-quarter) period. The rating operates on a scale from -100 to 100, with 100 symbolizing heavy accumulation and -100 representing heavy distribution on a net basis. The more intense the buying demand, the higher the accumulation and the A/D rating. Conversely, selling pressure contributes to greater distribution, resulting in a lower A/D Rating.

Liquidity Rating – 20/50 Day #

The Deepvue Liquidity Rating represents a stock’s demand relative to its existing supply while considering factors such as the float and average volume. This rating operates on a scale of 1-99, where 99 represents the best rating and 1 is the worst. This metric is shown on both a 20 day and 50 day basis.

Timeliness Rating #

Represents stocks that have the potential for relative outperformance over the next 12 months, with a focus on price momentum and stability. This rating does not consider general market conditions but uses a combination of EPS Ratings, Relative Strength Ratings, and risk factors such as Beta, Current Ratio, and Market Capitalization to highlight strong stocks.

Composite Rating – 1/3/6/12 Month #

Scored 1 (weakest) to 99 (strongest) that is a combination of serves as a comprehensive rating that incorporates both fundamental and technical strengths. It takes into consideration Relative Strength, Absolute Strength, Quarterly and Annual Fundamentals as well as volume accumulation and distribution factors to provide a singular rating that you can use to compare stocks across the market.

Absolute Strength (AS) Rating – 1 Day, 1 Week, 1/3/6/12 Month #

The Absolute Strength (AS) Rating is a distinctive feature in the Deepvue. This rating provides an overview of a stock’s absolute price performance compared to all other stocks in Deepvue. Absolute Strength sets itself apart from Relative Strength by applying equal weight to each time period included in the rating, whereas the RS Rating applies weighting to more recent periods. These data points have daily update cycles.

Relative Strength (RS) Rating – 1 Day, 1 Week, 1/3/6/12 Month #

Relative Strength (RS) Rating is a weighted rating that compares a stock’s performance to that of all other stocks in Deepvue benchmarked to the S&P 500. The RS Rating operates on a scale of 1-99, with 99 representing the best possible rating and 1 the worst. RS Rating shorter than 6 months are equal weighed, while the 6 and 12-month timeframes weigh more recent price performance more heavily than older price history.

Relative Measured Volatility (RMV) – 5/10/15/20 Days #

Scored from 0 (tightest) to 100 (move volatile) over a 5/10/15/20 trading day period. RMV can be used to look for stocks developing tight areas on screens as well as to sort a list by tightness as a data point. Formula uses the highs and lows of the specified periods in the methodology.

Sector Rank – 1 Day, 1 Week, 1/3/6/12 Month #

Scored based on a weighted combination of the absolute strength scores of the stocks in each Sector that meet price and liquidity thresholds. Two methodologies are weighted together for the final score which is calculated for a 1 Day, 1 Week, and 1/3/6/9/12 Month periods. Each Sector is then ranked 1 (best) to 11 (worst) based on their final scores.

Group Rank – 1 Day, 1 Week, 1/3/6/12 Month #

Scored based on a weighted combination of the absolute strength scores of the stocks in each Group that meet price and liquidity thresholds. Two methodologies are weighted together for the final score which is calculated for a 1 Day, 1 Week, and 1/3/6/9/12 Month periods.Each Group is then ranked 1 (best) to 25 (worst) based on their final scores.

Industry Rank – 1 Day, 1 Week, 1/3/6/12 Month #

Scored based on a weighted combination of the absolute strength scores of the stocks in each Industry that meet price and liquidity thresholds. Two methodologies are weighted together for the final score which is calculated for a 1 Day, 1 Week, and 1/3/6/9/12 Month periods. Each Industry is then ranked 1 (best) to 75 (worst) based on their final scores.

Sub-Industry Rank – 1 Day, 1 Week, 1/3/6/12 Month #

Scored based on a weighted combination of the absolute strength scores of the stocks in each Sub-Industry that meet price and liquidity thresholds. Two methodologies are weighted together for the final score which is calculated for a 1 Day, 1 Week, and 1/3/6/9/12 Month periods. Each Sub-Industry is then ranked 1 (best) to 165 (worst) based on their final scores.
