DV Mansfield RS Indicator #

• The Mansfield Relative Strength Indicator is quite simply the stock / S&P 500, or whatever index (stock) you choose to compare it to. Then, to determine whether a stock is outperforming or underperforming, a 52-week moving average of the RS Line is calculated and then flattened, creating the oscillator style indicator you see in the charts below.
  
• This is the RS indicator that Stan Weinstein uses in his book ‘Secrets for Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets’.
