Single Sort #
1. You can sort any column in your data table by clicking on the column heading.
2. With your first click on the column header you wish to sort by, the data in that column will be sorted in descending order. A number will appear next to the column header indicating which column was sorted first, then second, then third, etc. Also, the number of sorts being applied will appear at the top right of your data table. In this case, 1 because we have sorted by a single column.
3. Your second click on the header of the column you wish to sort by will sort the data in that column in ascending order.
4. By clicking a third time on the column header you wish to sort by, the data sorted in that column will be reset to its original status.
5. All sorting can be cleared by hovering over the red circle in the top right corner which will turn it to an X. When clicked, all sorting is cleared from all columns.
Multi-sort #
- After sorting your initial column (Industry), you can click on the heading of another column (DCR), which will be sorted within the confines of your initial column sort. You can also go on to do a tertiary sort in the same manner if so desired.
Note: the first column sort has the highest priority and will always take precedence unless deselected. This means that in order for a secondary or tertiary column sort to take precedence, the first column sort must be deselected.
