Top 8 TradeZella Alternatives for Stock Traders (2026)
Eight trading journals compared on price, broker sync, AI and mobile apps, with honest pros, cons and real user reviews for each.
The best TradeZella alternatives are the Deepvue Trading Journal, TraderSync, Tradervue, TradesViz, Edgewonk, Kinfo, Trademetria and Stonk Journal. For stock traders, Deepvue is the strongest fit: broker sync, R multiple stats and an AI Journal Agent inside a full research platform, with native iOS and Android apps, and a Black Friday deal that locks in a full year for $490.
What is TradeZella? It’s the trading journal more than 100,000 traders use for Zella AI, tick replay and broker sync. Then July 2026 brought a price increase that lifted Essential to $35 and Pro to $59 a month, on a platform with no free trial and no native mobile app.
Never miss a Deepvue blog post.
That has plenty of traders shopping for TradeZella competitors and apps like TradeZella. We put eight TradeZella alternatives side by side on broker sync, review tools, AI, mobile and price, with real reviews from Reddit, Trustpilot and the app stores, so you can see where each one beats TradeZella and where it doesn’t.

Why Traders Are Looking for TradeZella Alternatives
TradeZella does a lot well, and a 4.8 Trustpilot score from more than 1,000 reviews shows most of its users are happy. The complaints that send people looking for a TradeZella alternative cluster around a few themes, and most come straight from TradeZella users.
TradeZella Pricing Went Up
In July 2026 the entry plan moved from $29 to $35 a month and Pro from $49 to $59. Annual Pro jumped from $399 to $531, and unlimited accounts moved to a new $99 Ultra plan, with Pro capped at 50 accounts.
Older subscribers keep their old price only while they stay on the same plan and billing cycle. Change anything and you pay the new rates, and no TradeZella discount brings annual Essential under $315.
“to think i pay $300 dollars for this is just terrible.”
Farid, 1 star review on Trustpilot
No Free Plan or Free Trial
TradeZella’s own blog puts it plainly: “No free trial. You need to subscribe to access the platform.” With no TradeZella free trial and no TradeZella free plan, you pay at least $35 before you see one of your own trades inside it.
“I want to see the platform first before purchasing the plan”

Notes and Data That Are Hard to Take With You
Journaling is half the reason to pay for TradeZella, so lost notes sting. One trader in the TradeZella subreddit spent hours on strategy notes and came back to find parts of them gone. TradeZella’s help center now says notes keep a version history for up to 30 days.
“I spent HOURS writing notes. Go back to review them and parts are GONE.”
A user on r/tradezella
Leaving is harder still. TradeZella’s help center says “there isn’t a direct option to back up or export all data,” the trade CSV you export can’t be uploaded back in, and notes export as PDFs one at a time.
Sync and Support Complaints
Critical reviews keep circling back to TradeZella broker imports and help. One 1 star reviewer said the “import of trade history is butchered,” and a 2 star reviewer wrote that “Zella AI contaminated about 200 of my trades and made my statistics unreliable.”
“The customer support that used to be good has become non-existent”
Thomas K, 1 star review on Trustpilot
Stats That Stop Short of the Why
Color coded reports look great, and some traders find they stop there. Zella AI answers questions on top of your stats, but it runs on monthly credits: 500 on Essential, 1,500 on Pro and 3,000 on Ultra, with top ups sold separately.
“it never told me why I kept blowing the same setup. It just showed me that I did.”
A swing trader on r/swingtrading
No TradeZella App for Your Phone
TradeZella’s own TraderSync comparison admits “TradeZella is currently web-only,” and its documentation says there’s “no dedicated mobile app.” If you’ve searched for a TradeZella mobile app and come up empty, that’s why, and it’s a real gap if you review trades on the train.

Deepvue takes the No. 1 spot for stock traders because the journal comes inside a full growth stock research platform, with native apps and every journal feature in one plan. Each TradeZella alternative below gets the same breakdown, and where one of the TradeZella competitors wins a category, we say so.
The Best TradeZella Alternatives
These are the top TradeZella competitors to take note of if you need functional journaling software.

1. Deepvue Trading Journal
● Best for: Swing and position traders in growth stocks who want their journal, charts and screener in one place, on desktop and mobile.
Deepvue is a growth stock research platform, and its Deepvue Trading Journal comes built in as a full module. Trades sync from your broker, sit next to the charts and screens that found them, and get scored in dollars, percent and R.
That link between finding a trade and reviewing it is easiest to see in motion. In the launch walkthrough below, the Deepvue team opens the Dashboard, clicks into a trade and walks through the review panel and Notebook.
Watch how to review your trades in Deepvue here.

Key Features
- •Broker sync. Connect Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood, Webull, Interactive Brokers, tastytrade, Questrade and many more from the broker list. For most brokers the first full sync finishes within 24 hours, and any CSV format imports too.
- •A Dashboard you build. Add the apps you want, such as Open Positions, Equity Curve, Trading Edge and Calendar, then filter everything by date, tag, symbol or account.
- •R multiple analytics. Add a stop and Deepvue works out R on each trade, then breaks out results by playbook, tag, emotion and symbol.
- •Live risk on open positions. Open Risk shows what you’d lose if every stop hit, and Near Stops pushes the positions closest to their stops to the top.
- •Trade review on the chart. Each trade opens with your buys and sells plotted, plus pre and post trade notes, an emotion, tags and a playbook.
- •Notebook and Model Books. Keep routines and plans in folders with chart snapshots, and study past leaders in Model Books.
- •Journal Agent. Ask an opt in AI what’s working and what isn’t. It sees anonymized trade data only, under a zero data retention policy.
- •Desktop and mobile. The whole journal runs on the web and in Deepvue’s apps for iOS and Android, with notes and reviews synced between them.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- One plan covers the journal plus the AI Terminal, alerts, watchlists, charts and a screener
- Full journal in native phone apps for iOS and Android
- Open Risk and Near Stops track live risk against your stops
- R multiple stats by playbook, tag and emotion
- Opt in Journal Agent that sees anonymized data only
- $490 a year on the Black Friday deal, locked in while you stay subscribed
Cons
- Stocks only for now, in USD and CAD accounts
- No free plan, and the regular price is $99 a month
- Newer than most journals here, with more tools still rolling out
Pricing
Deepvue costs $99 a month, or $990 a year, with the journal included. Until December 4, the Black Friday deal cuts a full year to $490 and keeps it there for as long as you stay subscribed, and joining by November 12 adds two free live masterclasses.
How It Compares to TradeZella
TradeZella goes deeper on day trading, with tick replay, a backtester and prop firm tracking. Deepvue brings the research side TradeZella doesn’t have, with a screener, full charting and watchlists wrapped around the journal, plus Open Risk and Near Stops for positions you hold for days or weeks.
Deepvue also runs natively on iOS and Android, and at the $490 Black Friday rate a full year costs less than TradeZella Pro’s $531 annual plan while bundling a whole research platform. See every module on the features overview, or follow the setup guide to get your first week of trades reviewed.
User Ratings
User ratings: 4.7 out of 5 on the App Store from more than 430 ratings, 4.7 on Google Play from more than 250 reviews, and a 4.8 average across 220+ verified Deepvue reviews.
“I can’t imagine there is a better investment tool.”
DFH6/9, review on the App Store
“I’ve now consolidated systems from three other platforms into this one.”
Brayden Smith, 5 star review on Trustpilot
Best fit: Growth stock traders who want one plan for finding, sizing and reviewing their trades, with the full journal in their pocket.
Lock In a Year of Deepvue for $490
Get the journal, the full research platform and the mobile apps for $490 a year, normally $990, at a price that never goes up while you stay subscribed. Join by November 12 and two free live masterclasses come with it.
2. TraderSync
● Best for: Active day traders who want market replay, a simulator and AI coaching in one journal.
TraderSync has been around for more than a decade and covers stocks, options, futures, crypto and forex. It supports more than 100 brokers and platforms, with Cypher AI, a replay terminal and a simulator layered on top of the journal.

Key Features
- •Cypher AI. An AI assistant with daily message limits by plan, from 5 a day on Pro to 60 on Elite, with the full AI coach reserved for Elite.

- •Simulator and backtesting. Practice trades and automated backtests, with the backtester on Elite.
- •Screeners and Level II. Gapper and volatility screeners plus Level II and Time & Sales, all on Elite only.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Broad asset coverage and 100+ brokers and platforms
- Replay and simulator built for intraday review
- Entry plan cheaper than TradeZella Essential
Cons
- Mobile apps, screeners and the AI coach need the $79.95 Elite plan
- Payments are non refundable
- Trade exports are disabled during the trial
Pricing
Pro runs $29.95 a month, Premium $49.95 and Elite $79.95, with first year annual discounts of up to 60%. A 7 day trial comes before your first charge.
How It Compares to TradeZella
In the TraderSync vs TradeZella matchup, both lean into day trading with replay, AI and backtesting. TraderSync has the cheaper entry plan and iOS and Android apps, but the apps and its research extras sit on Elite, which costs more than TradeZella Pro.
User Ratings
User ratings: 4.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 324 reviews, and 2.7 on the App Store.
“trades I journaled with markings and notes on the chart are all gone”
Will, 1 star review on Trustpilot
“The app looks nice but it’s super complex with a rather poor UX.”
Navi, 2 star review on Trustpilot
Best fit: Day traders who want replay and simulated practice and will pay for Elite to get the extras.
3. Tradervue
● Best for: Intraday stock traders who want a simple journal with a free tier and mentor sharing.
Tradervue counts more than 200,000 traders signed up. It’s aimed at active intraday equity traders and imports from over 80 platforms, including Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood and Interactive Brokers.

Key Features
- •Over 80 platform integrations, from thinkorswim and E*TRADE to TradeStation and NinjaTrader.
- •Trade sharing and mentor mode on paid plans, so a coach can review your trades.
- •Exit analysis and risk tracking on the Gold plan.
- •A free plan for up to 30 trades a month.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Free plan for light traders
- Wide import list that includes Fidelity
- Mentor and sharing tools
Cons
- No AI features and no mobile app
- Exit analysis and risk tools locked to Gold
- Free plan stops at 30 trades a month
Pricing
The Basic plan is free for 30 trades a month. Silver runs about $30 a month and Gold about $50, and both come with a 7 day trial.
How It Compares to TradeZella
Tradervue vs TradeZella comes down to price against features. Tradervue’s free plan and cheaper Silver tier undercut TradeZella, but you give up AI, replay, backtesting and a mobile app.
User Ratings
User ratings: 2.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 10 reviews, with no app store listing to rate. Every Trustpilot review is either 5 stars or 1 star.
“Forget about ANY customer service or assistance with issues.”
David Roberts, 1 star review on Trustpilot
“Two years after cancelling they are still billing and will not refund!”
Michael Roby, 1 star review on Trustpilot
Best fit: Intraday traders who want a no frills trade log and mentor sharing, and can live without AI.
4. TradesViz
● Best for: Data heavy traders who want the most charts and stats for the money.
TradesViz says more than 200,000 traders use it, and it packs a huge stats library, AI tools and simulators into plans that start at zero. The free tier covers stocks only, one account and 3,000 executions a month.

Key Features
- •AI tools including AI Coach reviews, AI Query and AI Chat.
- •Simulator and backtesting, with trade replay and an options backtester.
- •A real time stock screener with 14 strategies, plus options flow on Platinum.
- •Native iOS and Android apps that carry nearly all of the website.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Free plan for stock traders
- Paid plans cost less than TradeZella at every tier
- Native mobile apps and a built in screener
Cons
- Free plan limited to stocks and one account
- Fidelity and E*TRADE sync only on paid plans
- Dense interface that new users find hard to read
Pricing
Basic is free. Pro costs $19.99 a month or $14.99 billed annually, and Platinum costs $29.99 a month or $22.49 billed annually, each with a 7 day trial.
How It Compares to TradeZella
Comparing TradesViz vs TradeZella is a value fight. TradesViz is cheaper at every level, has a free plan and native apps, and adds a screener. TradeZella answers with Zella AI agents, Zella University and Prop Firm Sync.
User Ratings
User ratings: 3.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 71 reviews, 3.2 on the App Store and about 2.9 on Google Play.
“they make you pay to view your own notes.”
Lana, 1 star review on Trustpilot
“overly complex user interface with far too many options for things that don’t matter.”
zimonzhawn, 2 star review on Trustpilot
Best fit: Budget minded traders who trade more than stocks and enjoy digging through stats.
5. Edgewonk
● Best for: Traders who care most about psychology and discipline and prefer one bill a year.
Edgewonk has spent more than 10 years building its journal around trading psychology, with a Psychology Lab, Edge Finder and trade checklists. It covers forex, stocks, futures, crypto and options, and runs in your browser.

Key Features
- •Psychology Lab and Edge Finder to spot emotional patterns and your strongest setups.
- •Chart Lab and a strategy lab for slicing results by setup.
- •Trade checklists and a diary to keep rules in front of you.
- •Over 200 brokers, with auto sync for MetaTrader 4 and 5 and Fast Import for the rest.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- One yearly price with no tiers
- Strong psychology and discipline tools
- 14 day money back guarantee
Cons
- No monthly plan, free plan or free trial
- No native mobile app
- Auto sync only for MetaTrader 4 and 5
Pricing
Edgewonk costs $197 for 12 months, or $169 outside the EU and UK. There’s no monthly option, and a 14 day money back guarantee stands in for a trial.
How It Compares to TradeZella
The big difference here is a yearly price against a monthly one. Edgewonk’s $197 beats TradeZella Essential billed annually at $315, and it leans harder into psychology. TradeZella syncs far more US stock brokers directly and adds Zella AI and trade replay.
User Ratings
User ratings: 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 44 reviews. Every review is either 5 stars or 1 star.
“to subscribe you have to subscribe for an entire year.”
moe, 1 star review on Trustpilot

- •Verified profiles that are public or private, with a leaderboard.
- •Notes and tags on every trade.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Free plan and native iOS and Android apps
- Broker verified performance
- Syncs Fidelity
Cons
- No AI, replay or backtesting
- Lighter review and journaling tools
- Most features sit behind the paid plans
Pricing
Kinfo has a free plan. PRO costs $24.90 a month and PRO+ $44.90 a month, and yearly billing saves 25%.
How It Compares to TradeZella
Kinfo costs less than TradeZella and adds native apps and broker verified public profiles. TradeZella goes much further on review, with AI, replay, backtesting and playbooks.
User Ratings
User ratings: 4.8 out of 5 on the US App Store from 474 ratings, and 4.5 on Google Play from more than 360 reviews. Kinfo has no Trustpilot profile.
“Everything’s locked behind a paywall.”
SPX500KING, review on the UK App Store
“it only gives you the very basics on the free plan.”
Timmi, review on Google Play
Best fit: Traders who want verified P&L tracking on their phone more than deep trade review.
7. Trademetria
● Best for: Budget traders who want a multi asset journal with AI on every plan.
Trademetria has been around since 2016 and says more than 80,000 users trust it. It tracks stocks, futures, options, forex, crypto and CFDs across 140+ brokers, and adds charting and fundamental research on top of the journal.

Cons
- Free plan capped at 30 orders a month, one account and 3 open positions

- Refunds only for unfixed coding errors
Pricing
The free plan covers 30 orders a month. Basic costs $19.95 a month or $169 a year, and Pro costs $29.95 a month or $249 a year.
How It Compares to TradeZella
Trademetria undercuts TradeZella on every plan and puts AI on all of them, the free one included. TradeZella offers more depth on replay, backtesting and prop firm tracking.
User Ratings
User ratings: 4.0 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 12 reviews, and 4.7 on Capterra from 25 reviews. Neither site has a 2 or 3 star review.
“The so called ‘automatic sync’ with your broker DOES NOT WORK.”
George, 1 star review on Trustpilot
“Importing complex option trades can be a nightmare if you have a lot of trades”
Alex M., 4 star review on Capterra
Best fit: Cost conscious traders across several asset classes who want AI without paying for a top tier.
8. Stonk Journal
● Best for: New or low volume traders who want a free journal and don’t mind typing trades in.
Stonk Journal is free forever with unlimited trades, and it counts more than 200,000 traders signed up since 2021. The catch is there’s no broker sync, so trades go in by hand unless you pay for Pro and import CSVs.

Key Features
- •Unlimited manual trades on the free plan.
- •30+ metrics and 10 risk rule types.
- •AI Coach and AI Chat on Pro.
- •CSV Smart Import on Pro, from Schwab, Fidelity, E*TRADE, Webull, Robinhood and Interactive Brokers.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Free forever with no trade cap
- Pro costs $10 a month
- CSV and Excel export
Cons
- No broker sync, and manual entry only on the free plan
- No app store apps
- No trial for Pro
Pricing
The free plan costs nothing and has no trade limit. Pro costs $10 a month, with no trial.
How It Compares to TradeZella
As a TradeZella free alternative, Stonk Journal wins on price, since TradeZella has no free plan at all. You pay for that in typing, because TradeZella syncs your broker and Stonk Journal doesn’t.
User Ratings
User ratings: 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 205 reviews.
“Why isn’t support responding to people’s concerns?”
Ibrahim Sawadogo, 1 star review on Trustpilot
“It is simple and tag feature is really good but they are problems.”
Max, 3 star review on Trustpilot
Best fit: Traders on a zero budget who log a handful of trades a week.
Deepvue vs TradeZella
| Category | Deepvue | TradeZella |
|---|---|---|
| Who it serves | Growth stock traders holding for days or weeks | Day traders and prop firm traders |
| Price | $99/mo, or $990/yr | $35, $59 or $99/mo, or $26 to $74/mo billed annually |
| Current offer | Black Friday: $490/yr, locked in, plus two live masterclasses by Nov 12 | None, with no free plan or trial |
| Mobile app | Native iOS and Android apps with the full journal | No native iOS or Android app |
| Broker sync | Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood, IBKR and many more, plus any CSV | Auto sync for 13 platforms, plus file uploads and manual entry |
| Markets | Stocks in USD and CAD accounts | Stocks, options, forex, futures on select exchanges, crypto by hand |
| AI | Journal Agent: opt in, anonymized, zero data retention | Zella AI on monthly credits, 500 to 3,000 by plan |
| Risk tracking | Open Risk and Near Stops on live positions | Running P&L and MAE/MFE |
| Research tools | Screener, charts, watchlists, alerts and AI Terminal | None beyond charts for review and replay |
| Backtesting and replay | None | Tick replay, backtesting and Prop Firm Sync |
If you day trade futures through prop firm challenges, TradeZella’s replay and Prop Firm Sync cover ground Deepvue doesn’t. For a stock trader who wants research and review under one login, on desktop and mobile, Deepvue covers more, and at the $490 Black Friday rate a full year of it costs less than a year of TradeZella Pro.
Which TradeZella Alternative Is Best?
It depends on how you trade and how much of the work you want the journal to do for you.
| Platform | Best for | Where it stands out |
|---|---|---|
| Deepvue | Growth stock traders who hold for days or weeks | Journal, research and native apps in one plan |
| TraderSync | Active day traders | Market replay and simulator |
| Tradervue | Intraday traders with a mentor | Free plan and trade sharing |
| TradesViz | Stat lovers on a budget | Deep analytics and a screener, free for stocks |
| Edgewonk | Psychology focused traders | Mindset tools and a single annual fee |
| Kinfo | Phone first traders | Verified P&L and public rankings |
| Trademetria | Multi asset traders on a tight budget | AI on every plan, free included |
| Stonk Journal | Manual loggers | Free forever with unlimited trades |
Journal from anywhere
Grab the Black Friday deal from your mobile browser, a full year for $490 instead of $990, then install the Deepvue app on iOS or Android to review trades, log notes and check open risk from your phone, synced to desktop.
Final Verdict
Every TradeZella alternative here fixes at least one TradeZella complaint. Several cost less, five have free plans, and TradesViz and Kinfo ship native apps on every plan.
For stock traders, Deepvue fixes most of them at once: the whole journal on your desktop and phone, private opt-in AI and a growth stock research platform around it, at a Black Friday rate of $490 a year that never goes up while you stay subscribed. Pair it with the Position Size Calculator and your risk plan, entry and review all run from one place.
If your book is futures, forex or prop firm challenges, Deepvue’s stocks only journal won’t cover it yet. If you trade growth stocks and want your journal next to your research, Deepvue is the TradeZella alternative to try first.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is better than TradeZella?
What’s better than TradeZella depends on your trading. For stock traders, the Deepvue Trading Journal adds native iOS and Android apps and a full research platform for $99 a month, or $490 a year with the Black Friday deal. Other TradeZella competitors win on narrower points, such as TraderSync on replay or Stonk Journal on price.
Is TradeZella trustworthy?
Yes, TradeZella is a legitimate, widely used journal with a 4.8 Trustpilot score across more than 1,000 reviews. It says it never sells your data. Weigh its July 2026 price increase and limited data export against options like the Deepvue Trading Journal, where the Black Friday deal locks in $490 a year for as long as you stay subscribed.
How much does TradeZella cost a month?
TradeZella costs $35 a month for Essential, $59 for Pro and $99 for Ultra, or $26, $44 and $74 a month billed annually. There’s no free plan or trial. Deepvue costs $99 a month with the journal and research platform included, or $490 a year with the Black Friday deal.
Does TradeZella have a free trial or free plan?
No, TradeZella offers neither a free trial nor a free plan, so you subscribe before you can use it. Deepvue’s Black Friday deal gives you a full year of the Deepvue Trading Journal for $490, so you can connect a broker and review your own trades at a price that stays locked.
Does TradeZella have an app?
No, TradeZella doesn’t have a native mobile app. Its documentation describes a web platform for desktop browsers. Deepvue’s journal works on both desktop and mobile, and every trade, note and review stays in sync between the web and Deepvue’s apps for iOS and Android. Grab the Black Friday deal in your mobile browser, then download the app.
Which is better, TradeZella or TraderSync?
TradeZella vs TraderSync is close for day traders. TraderSync has a cheaper entry plan and a market replay terminal, while TradeZella puts Zella University and AI credits on every plan. If you swing trade stocks, Deepvue pairs its journal with growth stock research that neither of them is built around.
Is TradeZella better than TradingView?
TradeZella and TradingView do different jobs: TradeZella journals trades you’ve taken, and TradingView charts the market. Deepvue covers both sides for stock traders, with charting, a screener and the Deepvue Trading Journal in one plan. See how it stacks up in TradingView alternatives.
Is there a free TradeZella alternative?
Yes, there are several free TradeZella alternatives. Stonk Journal is free with manual entry, Tradervue, TradesViz and Trademetria offer capped free plans, and Kinfo has a free tier below its PRO plans. Deepvue skips the free tier, and its Black Friday deal gets you the full platform, journal included, for $490 a year.
Is TradeZella worth it, or should I pick a TradeZella alternative?
