Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure
Deepvue gives you tools to research markets and make your own decisions. It does not tell you what to buy or sell. Please read this page carefully. It applies to the Deepvue website, web app, mobile apps, Chrome extension, AI features, emails and community channels.
1. No investment advice §
Deepvue LLC (“Deepvue”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides charting, screening, watchlist, journaling, data and AI research tools (collectively, the “Platform”). Deepvue is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor or financial planner, and the Platform is not intended to provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice.
Nothing on the Platform, including charts, ratings, screens, watchlists, model books, articles, videos, livestreams, emails, social media posts or AI-generated outputs, is a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy, sell or hold any security, option, future, cryptocurrency or other financial instrument, or to adopt any trading strategy. Any decision to trade or invest is yours alone.
2. Educational and informational use only §
All content on the Platform is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It does not take into account your personal financial situation, objectives, experience or risk tolerance. Examples of stocks, setups, patterns or trades are shown to illustrate how a tool or concept works, not to suggest that you should act on them.
Deepvue, its employees, contributors and partners may hold positions in securities discussed on the Platform and may trade them at any time without notice.
3. Risk of loss §
Trading and investing in securities, options, futures, cryptocurrencies and other financial instruments involve substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every investor. You can lose some or all of the money you invest, and with leveraged or margined products you may lose more than your initial investment. Prices can move quickly and sharply, and markets can be illiquid or closed when you need to exit a position.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
4. Suitability and professional advice §
You are solely responsible for deciding whether any security, strategy or transaction is suitable for you. Before making any financial decision, you should do your own research and consider consulting a licensed financial adviser, broker, tax professional or attorney who understands your circumstances.
5. Past performance §
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Historical price moves, chart patterns, ratings, screen results, model book examples, trader case studies and testimonials describe what happened in the past. They do not guarantee or predict how any security, strategy or user will perform in the future.
6. Hypothetical and backtested results §
The Platform may show hypothetical, simulated or backtested results, for example when you test a screen, strategy or indicator against historical data.
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
In addition, backtests typically:
- assume perfect fills at displayed prices and ignore slippage, gaps and partial fills;
- exclude or estimate commissions, fees, borrowing costs and taxes;
- may be affected by survivorship bias, data errors, corporate actions and look-ahead bias;
- cannot account for the emotional and financial pressure of trading real money.
Actual results will differ, and may differ materially, from any hypothetical results shown.
7. Market data §
Market data, fundamentals, earnings, news and other information on the Platform are obtained from third-party providers and exchanges. Data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or temporarily unavailable, and may not reflect the most recent trade or quote. Do not rely on the Platform as your only source for real-time prices or for order execution; always confirm prices with your broker before trading.
All data is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, timeliness, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Ratings, screeners and indicators §
Deepvue ratings (such as RS Rating, EPS Rating and AS Rating), screens, scans, alerts, patterns and indicators are calculated from historical data using formulas and methodologies that may change over time. They are analytical tools, not predictions, signals to trade or endorsements of any company. A high or low rating, or a stock appearing in a screen, does not mean it will rise or fall.
9. AI features §
The Platform includes AI-powered features, such as the AI Terminal and assistant tools, that generate answers, summaries, screens and other outputs. AI outputs are informational only and are not investment advice or recommendations.
AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or entirely wrong, even when they sound confident. They may misstate data, misread charts or invent information. Always verify AI outputs independently before relying on them, and do not treat any AI response as a suggestion to buy, sell or hold any security.
10. Third-party and community content §
The Platform may include or link to content created by third parties, including shared screens, watchlists, ideas, posts, livestreams, guest contributors, partners, Discord and other community channels, and third-party websites. This content reflects the views of its authors, not Deepvue. We do not review, verify or endorse it, and you use it at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability §
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deepvue and its owners, employees, contributors, partners and data providers will not be liable for any trading or investment losses, lost profits or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Platform, its data, its AI outputs or any content on it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Relationship to our Terms §
This Disclaimer forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between them on the subjects covered here, this Disclaimer applies. We may update this page at any time; changes take effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date above will change. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Disclaimer.
