Company Description
Deepvue is building a next-generation financial data and trading platform designed to handle real-time, tick-level market data across global exchanges. Our mission is to deliver high-performance, low-latency infrastructure that powers intelligent trading, analytics, and decision-making at scale. We operate in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment focused on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Role Description
We’re seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer who can take ownership of our end-to-end testing strategy and automation framework.
In this role, you will design, write, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and other modern tools to ensure our platform’s reliability and performance. You’ll work closely with backend, frontend, and data engineering teams to build robust, AI-assisted test coverage — from API validation to UI and integration testing.
A strong understanding of automation frameworks, debugging, and performance testing is critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright for web, trading interfaces, and API layers.
- Build test pipelines integrated into CI/CD for rapid release validation and continuous quality assurance.
- Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Testim, Codeium) to enhance test coverage and productivity.
- Validate real-time data feeds and platform workflows.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to identify root causes, reproduce issues, and verify fixes.
- Design and monitor QA metrics, including performance, latency, and data integrity checks.
- Continuously evaluate AI and automation technologies to evolve testing efficiency.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Automation QA, with at least 4 years focused on the Playwright framework.
- Strong understanding of stock market or trading platforms — this is a must-have.
- Experience testing real-time data systems and market data feeds.
- Proficient in TypeScript; familiarity with Python or Go is a plus.
- Solid experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of API testing, WebSocket validation, and performance testing.
- Experience using AI-assisted testing or development tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and asynchronously in a remote team environment.
